![]() As I wrote on my first post I followed what is present inside the document "TeamviewerVPN TIA Portal Connection English_compressed.pdf" present on topic "How to download program from TiaPortal to PLC via Teamviewer VPN" but unfortunately for me it doesn't work. ![]() If there are someone expert in communication things please help me. The potential of this connection possibility is very high for me (and I think not only for me but for everybody) because the most important part is already made by Teamviewer vpn (or other vpn softwares) and Internet and it requires only the "last step". There are also many videos on Youtube about "these" similar questions and seems that everything work "easily". Furthermore is difficult for me to understand who is blocking the connection and make diagnosis to understand where the problem can be. Following the instructions present on the file "TeamviewerVPN TIA Portal Connection English_compressed.pdf" seems that someone has already found a solution about this problem and I tryed to test following the instructions present on it but failed. I think that this possibility exists but I don't know how to implement it. The "only" step that is missing is to tell to the local PC to route the communication packets to the ethernet port of the remote PC connected to the machine LAN. I have so the possibility to "arrive" to the machine "LAN" from remote. But we have a remote PC connected to machine "LAN" and a Teamviwer connection (normal or VPN) directly from my local PC with all the software required. In most of the cases we use router to connect remotely to the machines but in some case we don't have it. Second because are necessary all the licences and third because we have thousands machines with different customers with many TIA platforms and SP so the work to do to permit to connect for all the machines is unthinkable. Thanks for your answer, but the option to install the TIA platform on the remote PC is exactly what I want to avoid. ![]() Split from How to download program from TiaPortal to PLC via Teamviewer VPN. Where can be the issue? Are there some case that the configuration doesn't work? The thing that I added and that it is not written on the document is that I set the "Router" IP address inside the Plc hardware configuration equal to the IP address set on the remote PC about the LAN card (192.168.10.100).įor the rest I followed "exactly" (the Plc has got the IP: 192.168.10.210) the document and the only thing that I can say is that for me the paragraph 2.7 has a wrong title: the correct one is "Configure Remote PC and connect via Teamviewer VPN". I tried to make a tracert (in attachment, if it can help) and seems that something start from remote PC but after first step the communication is blocked (Unfortunately I am not an network expert). Is not the same when I try from my local PC to ping the Plc and I can't understand where the communication is blocked. The VPN connection works properly and I can ping on both side the PCs. So also the remote PC is connected inside my company to Internet using internal wifi. My local PC with Win 10 Professional with TIA Portal V16 last update connected to the remote PC using Teamviewer VPN.Īll the configuration is "inside" my company. I need to understand where can be the issue because I am not able to diagnosticate it. Read our step-by-step guide on how to work remotely with TeamViewer Remote.Last saturday I tried to follow the instructions present on the english TeamviewerVPN TIA Portal Connection English_compressed.pdf document to try to check if I am able to connect to the remote Plc using the Teamviewer VPN connection but unfortunately for me it doesn't work and I can't understand why. TeamViewer license holders can skip the download and connect directly from a browser.
